Service Description
This class helps high school students prepare for competitive portfolio review. Taught by professional artist, Elizabeth Suriani, it offers feedback to improve technique, creativity, and presentation for college portfolio submissions. Students can then take the time over the summer and into their fall semester with new ideas and techniques to improve their own artwork. Elizabeth offers additional individual tutoring if students wish to sign up for additional help on their artwork and personal portfolio preparation. This is a one time, hour and half lesson with multiple students to bring their artwork for critique. There will be no more than 5 students present to keep the class size small and able to allow for discussion. Class will be held at Artworks Center for Contemporary Art, with an easel and pedestal provided so students can properly display and explain their work before critique. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel before 24 hours of the class starting, you will be refunded the full amount to the card kept on file. Cancellation within 24 hours of the class starting you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Once the class begins you forfeit the full amount of the class. PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Guardians of students under 18 or who rely on an adult for transportation: you are responsible for picking up your student at the time the class ends. I do not have the allotted time to watch your student and will be leaving promptly after the conclusion of the days classes. Please schedule your time wisely to pick your student up on time. Guardians with students who have permission to leave without a you: you will receive an email at the time of booking and instructed that your student needs to provide a signed consent form for them to leave without you on the first day of classes.
